A sleek, modern home at Bergen - Scandinavian Living

The latest issue of Scandinavian Living magazine by Bo Bedre is out since a few weeks and this time Jantine and Marjon captured this amazing home at Bergen (North-West coast of the Netherlands). This home was built in the 1960's and was originally owned by the parents of the present owner Pieter. After a complete renovation with a large part of new construction, it has become the home of Pieter and his wife Magda now.

After Peter's mother passed away, they were actually intend to update the house and sell it afterwards. But due to its stunning location near beautiful seaside village ‘Bergen’ and surrounded by a forest and with the sea within cycling distance, Pieter and Magda decided to live there themselves.

The new home is (re-) built in a sleek, warm modernist style and looks amazing don’t you think so? The position of the house has remained unchanged, because that was already ideal with its generous garden and lovely terraces at the south side .
